The Delta Mainport portal site has been set up in order to help you find the ideal business location in the vicinity of Europe’s most important sea port area: The Rhine-Scheldt Delta.
The Rhine-Scheldt Delta is a cross-border area lying in the western part of Belgium and the Netherlands. The region is the estuary area of three main rivers, namely the Rhine, the Meuse and the Scheldt.

The Delta Mainport website has been realized within the framework of the Rhine-Scheldt-Delta partnership (RSD), being a cross-border initiative of a number of Dutch and Belgian institutions.
Government administrators, business people and environmentalists work together in the Rhine-Scheldt Partnership Organisation to further the development of the delta area with regard to development opportunities, spatial planning, mobility, ecology, culture, tourism and recreation.
Further information about the Rhine-Scheldt Delta partnership is available at: www.rsdelta.eu
The Delta Mainport website comes as a result of the RSD-GIS project. This project was set up to promote cross-border dialogue and cooperation between the partners in the Rhine-Scheldt-Delta by way of building and maintaining a trans-border geographical information system (GIS) aimed at providing information about the promotion and acquisition of business sites in the area.
The Province of Antwerp is the driving force behind the RSD GIS project.
